We cannot get enough of Don Knotts and his nervous craziness! He's outrageous! Sharp! Wicked! After viewing his awesome A&E Biography, we started thinking about Mr. Knotts and how fabulous he is and will always be!
Here are some of our favorite things!
We hope you will also have fun rediscovering the Knotts legacy! If you're new to Barney Fife.....well, then just step on up!
If they were to cast "The Don Knotts Story," would you choose director/producer John Waters or actor Steve Buscemi to play Knotts? Something for you to ponder while you sip your tea!

John Waters
........OR........

BARNEY FIFE AND OTHER CHARACTERS I HAVE KNOWN
By Don Knotts
This may not be the autobiography dirt-seekers were waiting
for. The great man himself put his thoughts to words and provides
a lot of insight into how Knotts became Barney Fife, the Incredible
Mr. Limpet and others.

NO TIME FOR SERGEANTS
Starring Andy Griffith
Ange's first big movie, based on the hit play. Don Knotts has a small, but featured role in the movie. This is where the chemistry between Ange and Barn was born! Plus, it's a dang funny look at the Army, which always gives me a laugh!

THE GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN
Starring Don Knotts
"Atta Boy, Luther!" Man, I had almost forgotten
about that line! Don Knotts' first big starring picture features
Don as a man who dares stay overnight in a haunted mansion. It's
slapstick wacky. So put your brain on hold and enjoy a comedy
from a far more innocent time.

THE INCREDIBLE MR. LIMPET
Starring Don Knotts
Way before "Sponge Bob" there was Mr. Limpet. See Don Knotts save the day -- as an animated fish. Truly -- one of our childhood faves here at Starrwatcher Online.

PLEASANTVILLE
Starring Don Knotts and the fabulous Tobey MacGuire, Reese Witherspoon, Joan Allen, William H. Macy and Jeff Daniels
Don Knotts plays a really strange TV Repairman who sets an even stranger scenario in motion! Special effects, some people in B/W, some in color.....it's a modern day fable. Might be a little too mushy for some. However, "Pleasantville" has become one of those films we'll watch even if it's showing on free TV with commercials!
