THE RED ROAD (2006)
The amazing soundtrack from Arigon's hit one-person show "The Red Road." Eighteen fun songs, twelve of which are heard in the show including "A Trucker's Bride," "Sapulpa Boogie," "The Red Road," "The Menu Song" and more! Some of the best musicians in country music help out Arigon on this release, including Kenny Vaughan, Gary Bennett, Skip Edwards, Doug Pettibone, Alex Wright, John Hatton, Chris Lawrence, Stuart Duncan, Scotty Lund and Thaddeus Graham. The release also includes bonus tracks like the Tejano-flavored "Mexican Souvenirs" and the haunting ballad "Farther Along."
Arigon's third project features 16 incredible songs including "Daddy's Records" and "Salmon Song." Special guests stars on the project are Don Herron, Chuck Mead and Gary Bennett from BR549! Other highlighted tracks are the punk rock anthem for salmon "The Salmon Song," and the Irish-tinged sing-along ballad based on a Star Trek episode, "Edith Keeler Must Die."
One of Arigon's most popular releases, "Wind-Up" features the track "Junior Frybread," winner of the 2001 Song of the Year Award at the Native American Music Awards. Also included are the rocking, Stones-flavored "Apache A-Go Go" and the powerful anthem about the Alcatraz Occupation -- "Indian Land Forever."
MEET THE DIVA
Arigon's debut release reflects her burst onto the music scene in 1998. After spending several years working out the songs in coffeehouses in Los Angeles and San Diego, Arigon put together a collection of ballads, semi-reggae, power pop and rock and roll songs. The release gained rave reviews around the country and received the award for "Best Independent Recording" from the Native American Music Awards. The songs also captured Arigon's search and acceptance of her Native American heritage -- brilliantly summed-up in the catchy "Native."
