THE LATEST RADIO BUZZ As you probably know, "The Red Road" has become a fantastic audio theater production, thanks to the fine folks at Native Voices at the Autry and the Native Radio Theater. The show is continuing to get airdates across the U.S. If you haven't heard the show or want to get it aired in your community, contact the folks at Native Voice One or the Native Radio Theater Project. You can also catch Arigon being interviewed live on "Red Town Radio" on February 6th. It's an internet radio show and should be a great time. Check it out here!
Also -- as those of you who live in Los Angeles know, Arigon's song "California Indians" from her CD BACKFLIP is the official theme song of KPFK-FM's "American Indian Airwaves." You can listen in every Wednesday at 3:00-4:00pm PST for news, interviews and issues around Indian Country. We decided some of you must be radio junkies like we are. We're going to attempt to keep this list of radio stations that feature Arigon's music up-to-date. If you hear Arigon's music on a station we don't have listed here, please give us a shout and we'll add them. Also, as you've seen on the Diva News page, Arigon's excellent comedy script "Super Indian" has been selected as one of the three finalists for the June 2006 Native Radio Theater Conference. We'll keep you informed on production details and when the finished product will hit the airwaves. More on the Native Radio Theater Project on the American Indian Radio On Satellite website.
Just a note to all of you -- we named this page in honor of one the Diva's favorite Queen songs, "Radio Ga Ga" -- You can read more about it here: The Wiki-Pedia Radio Ga Ga Page And "Radio Ga-Ga" does have something to do with, Lady Gaga....who we also love. AAAY! |
