THE LATEST FAVES
RUSSELL CROWE
Okay, so he threw a phone at somebody. Okay. Fine. However, Russell Crowe (who some internet sites claim is part-Maori!) is a marvelous actor who knows how to tell a good story. The Diva is also a huge fan of his music. Oh, I can hear the groans! It's not anything like David Hasselhoff or Keanu Reeves. Russell started his career busking on the streets in Australia -- so the man has paid his dues. Arigon saw him recently perform live at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. "Great style -- awesome band," says Arigon. You know she's got Russell's music on her I-Pod. He has a number of CDs out with his two groups 40 Odd Foot of Grunts and The Ordinary Fear of God. Here's a couple of sites for you to check out what's happening with his amazing actor/singer/songwriter.

My Hand, My Heart -- Russell's latest CD -- plus some great stories behind the songs written by Russell himself. We wish more artists would clue their audiences in more.

THE X-MEN
In any format (comics or movies), the X-Men rock. You might have been introduced the series with the big screen movies or maybe you've been a long-time fan of the comic book. Arigon loves them both! "I'm really excited to read to read Joss Whedon's take on the X-Men in the 'Astonishing X-Men' comic series," said Arigon. Joss Whedon, as many of you know is the writer and producer behind the popular TV shows "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer," "Angel" and "Firefly." "I really enjoy how they take those awful feelings of adolescence of feeling like a freak, not fitting in and transform them into fantastical situations," enthused Arigon. "It doesn't hurt that Hugh Jackman (who plays Wolverine) is so cute," laughed Arigon. The Diva loves the X-Men so much she's been inspired to create her radio series "Super Indian" with many of the same teenage awkward-ness reflected in her superhero Hubert Logan and his side-kick General Bear. We're hoping to see cartoon versions of "Super Indian" soon -- and are excited that "Super Indian" will be on the airwaves next year. "I can only hope I can spin as good a tale as Jack Kirby, Chris Claremont or Joss Whedon," smiled Arigon. If you want more information on The X-Men, check out these cool sites:
