Since the sad passing of revered elder Florence Jones, Caleen has taken leadership of this hardy tribe. You can help -- check out their website and hear their story.

At last, here is a tribute page to one of the staples of the Native American diet, Frybread. More than just a food, it's a way of life, love and happiness. Gayle over at Earthcircles is compiling recipes, stories and photos (WOW!) of Indian Frybread. If you've never tasted Frybread, there are detailed recipes you can try at home. Check out this amusing sight and see a slice of Indian life you probably wouldn't see unless you're a regular pow-wow attendee or a member of a large Indian family! Great laughs, good stories and amazing frybread photos!

STUDENTS AND TEACHERS AGAINST RACISM -- Education is more than memorizing dates, names and places. This site provides teachers and students with information about the Mascot issue and recent incidents in South Dakota. Unfortunately, racism is alive and well across the United States. Hopefully, this site will bring healing discussions to classrooms across America.

Rob Schmidt is the creator of the story of two NDN guys with superpowers -- powers which involve more than eating the most frybread or putting the rez car up on blocks ALL BY THEMSELVES...AAY! Go take a look -- Rob has assembled quite a reknowned board of directors who guide the comics every step. We're still a great fan of this site and "Peace Party" comics!

We're pleased to bring you these family photos from the archives, but we're also please to bring you some links about drummer, Nicholas Peters. As many of you know, Nick is from the Luiseno Tribe in the San Diego area.
