Set your sights for the stars Fill your dreams with their glow Live high on destiny And don't you let go For around the next turn may be The answer to all your needs For all the greatest trees Were started from seeds CHORUS This life is mine In beauty I walk Take what I find Don't listen to talk Under the skies And into my heart Flows the breeze And yesterday doesn't matter The road ahead Leads to the sky Then into your quiet space Give your soul some repair Heal the stinging wounds With loving care Every day is a chance A challenge that must be met Beneath the tightrope I walk Is a safety net CHORUS Written by Arigon Starr © 2002 Starrwatcher Publishing (ASCAP) Lyrics reprinted by Kind Permission |

| ABOUT THIS LIFE IS MINE
I learned the phrase "In beauty I walk" from my Navajo friends. They describe this as walking in balance -- which is something I strive to do each day. I recorded this song, which I wrote in my early coffeehouse days, for the fans who have been asking for me to include a solo acoustic track on one of my albums. |
