The roll out for “Super Indian Volume One” press is starting to happen. This past week, the national newspaper “Indian Country Today” featured an in-depth interview with Arigon Starr. It’s a fantastic article and features some exclusive art from the just-published graphic novel.
For those of you who aren’t regular visitors to Arigon’s “Super Indian” website at www.superindiancomics.com — the graphic novel is on sale there for $19.99, plus $5.00 shipping and handling. The book is also now available on Amazon.com. The folks at Wacky and Rezium Studios are also hard at work formatting the book for digital devices. As soon as we get word on when “Super Indian Volume One” is ready for your iPad, Kindle or Nook — you’ll be the first to know.
Arigon has got some exciting plans coming up — including joining the Comic Book Universe at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con, plus a music performance at the LA Skins Music Festival at the Autry in Los Angeles on July 21st, plus a Native Comic Book Workshop at the Heard Museum. Stay tuned for more information, plus a short travelogue about Arigon’s recent trip to New Mexico for the Western Writers of America Conference in Albuquerque.
