Native American Times Features Arigon and “Super Indian!”

It’s been an eventful few weeks here at Starrwatcher Online. Arigon picked up her Wordcrafter of the Year Award in Milwaukee, performed with her friend Richie Plass and the Indian Summer Festival All-Stars on the Harley Stage at the Indian Summer Festival, gave a successful talk on comic books at the Southeast Indian Writers Conference in Cherokee — and traveled to Oklahoma with her friends Robert & Evelyn Conley.

While she was in Oklahoma, she met up with freelance journalist Karen Shade. Karen, as some of you remember, was an Arts & Entertainment editor at the Tulsa World. Karen is now her own boss and she and Arigon (along with Arigon’s mom, Ruth Wahpecome) gathered for coffee and chat in Tulsa. Karen has always been one of those writers who “get” Arigon and what her projects are all about.
